St Luke’s Schools, Pakanyi Uganda
This area is a sub county of Pakanyi 17 kilometers (10.56 miles) from St Paul’s Parish and Schools. When Father Katende first moved to Pakanyi the bishop took him to this area and said this could be his project. He saw foundations that were started then stopped. Now Fr Katende informs me that the parish priest who started it, he was unable to complete because he was transferred to communication department. Fr said he will use this old foundation it is good. For secondary school students can go to St Paul’s SS or there is another in between, so students have a choice.
So here we are trying to get these schools built.
The name of village is Kaborogota (yeah mouthful) with a population of about 200,000 people.
The school will have a nursery section and a primary section, taking the Total cost to $13,000
Father said we could do this in sections. Do the primary first $8,000 and next do the nursery $5,000.
The Need: Building two classroom blocks for the nursery section and seven classroom blocks for the primary section.
